Character certificate is a document, which essentially certifies the overall character of a person i.e. his behavior and conduct towards other people in the day-to-day life in general.
A Character Certificate may have a legal implication in the future. Therefore, the certificate issuing authority should be careful in making the statements in the certificate. He should not take it as just a mere formality and give the certificate away to someone recklessly.
